The Fight For Child-Victim In Daycare Van Death

The fight continues at Amber’s Army to save the lives of other children and to help beef up the training and regulations of Daycare’s and to give knowledge to others.

“I was sad to hear about an old childhood friend/church member “Matthew Cody” daughter “Amber Cox-Cody” age 2, had died from being left in her Daycare van, which is an incident that claims the lives of many children every year worldwide,” stated C. Littlejohn.

As of Feb. 23, 2004 the trial began for those accused of leaving “Amber” on that van on a hot summer day on June 25th, of last year. She was supposed to be taken from the van into Children’s Rainbow Learning Center at 3258 Macon Road, but was left strapped in a seat in the van from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What are some of the measures that can be used to prevent such a drastic thing from happening to any child?
