Memphis’ Best Kept Secret, Rapper Skinny Pimp Is Ready To Roll Onlock Records/Grandstand Entertainment

(New York, NY)…. The fertile ground of Memphis entertainment has unleashed another native son onto the music scene, in the person of prolific rapper Skinny Pimp. Considered the South’s biggest secret, the Memphis Kingpin is the next Southern wordsmith to bring his down-home crunk rhymes and dynamic delivery to the national forum.

Skinny Pimp’s newest CD, Tha Classic, will be released in April 2004 on Onlock Records/ Grandstand Entertainment, which is distributed by RED Distribution, a division of Sony Music. Onlock Records, the brainchild of former New Orleans Saints pro football player Jamie “JD” Drummond, is proud to team up with Grandstand Entertainment, to launch Skinny Pimp’s national foray into the hip-hop scene.
