It was a day like no other in North Memphis. YO Gotti hit da stage, you knew fa’sho you was in the NORTH NORTH with all them thumbs in the air.

Saturday, October 18, 2003 Hot 107.1 held the 2003 celebrity basketball game and concert in Douglas park.

Among performers were Trill Ville and Lil’ Scrappy from da A-Town, along with North Memphis Vets Yo Gotti, who gave a fire a-s performance with them Block Burners, Mista Ian from da Bay Area, Mac E, Dj Squeeky with da whole Mo’ Chedda Fam who had da crowd CRUNK performing hits from his new album DOGGIN DA GAME which is in stores.

There were also other celebs in the atmosphere including, the mayor of South Memphis Mista Gangsta Blac, Criminal Manne, Tom Skeemask, Big Sue, Boogaloo and the whole Hot 107.1 crew. There werer plenty of clean a-s rides sittin on 20’s or better and fine ladies of North Memphis and surrounding areas, it’s no wonder this turned to an event of the year in the M.
