MIC AGGRESSION CHALLENGES RAP ARTISTS TO BATTLE OF THE RHYMES

ATLANTA, (March 14, 2002) – OffTheCliff Entertainment and RNation.com Hip-Hop Encounter have again challenged local artists to master Mic Aggression. Mic Aggression 5, an emcee battle that stretches artists’ lyrical freestyle skills to the limit, will provide artists with a chance to win cash, the ultimate artist promo pack including appearances on Rnation.com Hip-Hop Encounter on UPN 69 and the radio show, The Return Of The Boom Bap on 89.3 WRFG…

Mic Aggression is definitely not just another battle. Instead, it is a series of battles that combine the styles of an old school hip-hop show with a new millennium lyrical battle; Mic Aggression features celebrity judges, live performances, and break-dancers. Gaining quick recognition around the United States, Mic Aggression has been supported by Professor Griff (Public Enemy) and other music industry members that participate as judges. Mic Aggression 5 will be taped by Hip-Hop Nation, a music video show which airs on NBC in Miami, South Carolina, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles; it will also include performances by Greenville, South Carolina artists Nimrod and Seven.

Mic Aggression 5 will be held Saturday, March 30, 2002 at the Somber Reptile located at 842 Marietta St. Downtown Atlanta. The show starts at 10pm. Visit WWW.OFFTHECLIFF.COM for more details.
