The 28 year-old neighbor watch leader George Zimmerman has gone into hiding with his wife after believing that the shooting of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin would just ‘blow over.’

George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin on February 26 after disregarding a dispatcher’s instructions to not confront the teen who he said looked suspicious, as reported on MemphisRap.com.

Trayvon Martin was believed to be on the phone with his girlfriend after leaving the store to buy candy and iced tea reportedly to take to his brother while visiting his father in Sanford, Florida.

The question is so why does Zimmerman feel this wasn’t going to be a big deal? Zimmerman’s friend of ten years, Joe Oliver stated that Zimmerman believed that the shooting wasn’t a big deal and Zimmerman had been very confident that it would just blow over.

“Because he was there and he knows what happened..,” says Oliver, reportedly .

Oliver went on to say that Zimmerman now realizes how big this is for the country and for him.

According to sources, George Zimmerman has moved, disconnected his phone and has been quiet after citizens began protesting and politicians and the media got involved. Craig Sonner, Zimmerman’s legal advisor says because of a poster which has been displayed with “Wanted: Dead or Alive” with Zimmerman’s picture on it, he has been advised not only by him, but also authorities to remain in hiding.

To add to the story, a recording with a person screaming for help in a 911 call, Joe Oliver says he is sure it was his friend George Zimmerman, while Trayvon Martin’s parents insists it was their son’s voice who was calling for help.

Meanwhile, Craig Sooner says there is other evidence that hasn’t been revealed which occurred which shows George Zimmerman was acting in self-defense.

The internet has been talking of Zimmerman reportedly receiving a head injury and a broken nose during a scuffle with Trayvon Martin, while other reports state that new witnesses allegedly watched Zimmerman pin Trayvon Martin face-down as he died.
