Whats good ?? This ya Girl none otha than, "BUTTA". Lyrics Smooth as eva!! Straight from the Dirty South, MEMPHIS, TN, born and raised. I not only do rap..but I believe taht you have to at least know how to freestyle. So I do that on occasions as well with hip hop. I'm 21 years old of age, and for 15 years I have been writing lyrics, poems, rhymes... whatever you want to call it. My parents got divorced when I was 12 and I just never knew what all that was about, until I got older. That’s why in some of my songs I may mention them in it, but now it is all good. I just always wondered, what would it be like if they had stayed together. I did not start performing in front of people until I was in the 11th grade. I consider myself a laid back type person, but when I get on the mike it’s a whole new me. rapped acappella for the first time. I use to think that the only way people would understand and hear my lyrics is if I did not have a beat backing me up. However, I later learned that it is not the beat that people always listen to, but it is the way you deliver your message; the beat is a tool that helps the song/lyrics. I have not heard any female rappers out since…well it’s been a minute. Shot out to Mc Lyte , Missy, Foxy Brown, Trina, Da Brat, and Queen, to name a few. I believe the rap/ music business game is really lacking female rappers who really bring the heat when it comes to recording a record/album. I’m not the best female rapper out there, but I know I am ONE of the best ones out there now. I want to release my own music because, I bring a kind of flavor and lyrical style that no matter what age, race, belief, or orientation, hears my music, they will feel where I am coming from. I believe that if the rap game gets more females in the game, who knows maybe the rap game will get better and better as the years go by. I want my music to be heard for the young rappers (male/female) that are coming up today, who do not know which way to go, and how things are going to happen for them.Maybe I can get my foot in the door of some music venues, and I won't forget where I started. SHot out to Nick Black, for producing my songs, working fron stratch..(UOFM-Blue TOm), and Majestik Entertainment, for hooking me up with shows and getting my name out there more... -Butta |
