About Tru Stunnaz (TSZ)

Tru Stunnaz (TSZ), is a young, dynamic, versatile rap trio who doesn’t only rap about enjoying your life to the fullest, but also the various things people go through and feel everyday as well, whether it’s emotionally, physically, or a dream/goal in life. The young trio consists of Cameo “C-Will” Williams, Jeremy “J Freeze” Robinson, and Michael “Money Mike” Sherrod. Tru Stunnaz (TSZ) made birth in January of 2006 after each member of the trio became close friends during high school in the southern part of Memphis, TN in a neighborhood called Riverside. The group’s primary genre of music is Rap/Hip-Hop, but can also elaborate R&B singles and effective club bangers. TSZ is based upon a quote given by their manager, “Be heard, be seen, be relative, and be effective.”

Currently, Tru Stunnaz (TSZ) are working on various activities such as mixtapes, features, networking, and performing at various venues in order to build a bigger fan base and hype for public attention. J Freeze, one of the members of the trio, is also building hype for his production work and abilities. He is also working alongside Aaron “A-Track” Brandon as a production duo known as “The Villianz”. The trio is always creating and updating many social networking websites such as Myspace to help build their hype and fan base, and allow others to comprehend their projects hands on.

The dynamic trio was formed in attempt of a mixtape song as features in January of 2006, in which the trio and others was pleased after hearing the song. As a result, C-Will, J Freeze, and Money Mike decided to record another song together in a in-house studio owned by Money Mike’s uncle, curious to see if it would have the same impact as the first song, and it did! In mid-January of 2006, the three talented young artists created a trio called “Trap$tarz”. Releasing songs exclusively to former classmates and relatives of their families, and friends, the group began to achieve fans and support. A year later in 2007, the trio changed their name to its current name, “Tru Stunnaz (TSZ)”. Now, two years later, more and more people are becoming affected by their music and styles, driving the group towards a road of success and more support.

Tru Stunnaz (TSZ) has accomplished many things and has gotten recognition for their talents. In the summer of 2008, a magazine in Memphis, TN called “Memphis Music Magazine” offered the group an interview article. Also, the group has been able to perform at many big name venues in Memphis, such as The Plush Club, and meet many other local recording artists. With this being done, the public and other artists/musicians everywhere are noticing and acknowledging the young group.

In conclusion, Tru Stunnaz (TSZ) are earning their way to success in the music industry. All three members have goals of being iconic figures, entrepreneurs, and highly successful African-Americans. Not only those goals/dreams, but to continue to provide current and future fans with quality music and motivation daily. Tru Stunnaz (TSZ) has matured and developed into three leaders as well as great artists, allowing fans to get closer to them. As Ovea AKA Jim Jag quotes who supports the trio, “It’s been time for the world to feel the Stunt Effect, make it happen guys!”
