In the 80's a melodious technician, professionally known as, P Jericho was born in the suburbs of Chicago. Being of African descent, Jericho begin traveling between Chicago, and his family's hometown in Africa, for most of his childhood, having the liberty to experience a tremendous array of cultures, and music. It was during one of his visits to Africa that his passion for music was birthed through witnessing his father direct an African Choir. By age 8, Jericho became a part of that choir both singing and playing the African bongos. After the completion of High School, P. moved to Vancouver BC in Canada to attend college, turning his focus to education, and away from music for awhile. BUT, as fate would have it, P.J, would soon find himself back in music, while singing in a local Vancouver barber shop Jericho was discovered by a Jamaican dancehall artist, by the name of B Kay, which invited Jericho to his very first studio session to record. After attending more and more studio sessions, it was clear that not only could P sing, but had yet another talent, a majestic writing ability. The double threat of singing and writing has now taken P Jay all around the world, working in places such as Europe, Africa, Canada, Atlanta, Chicago, Oakland and Los Angeles to name a few. After dedicating years to mastering his craft, and assisting other rising stars, as well as high caliber producers, with writing, and vocals, in September 2007 P Jericho, was discovered by music & marketing veteran Mike "Heat" Williams, and signed to Firehouse Entertainment a Los Angeles based production company who is also affiliated with Jabari Oliver of Memphisrap.com. With musical influences such as Michael Jackson and Nat King Cole, and the writing ability of Neyo, P Jericho's highly anticipated project, Can You Relate is sure to whisk the industry with controversial stories about a poor boys wants, complexion issues, and growing up on the streets of Chicago being sang in a unique, intimate pitch.
