Make sure you add all required information or you will be asked to re-submit the form. You must be at least 13 years old to join MemphisRap.com, and you must have a valid email address.

With this option you'll be resetting your password. Use the [Forgot your Password] link on the login page. This will cause your password to be sent to the email address you registered with at MemphisRap.com. If you use Yahoo, AOL or another web based email client be sure to check your "bulk" or "junk" mail folders if you do not see the password message come to your account.
Yes. It is free to join MemphisRap.com, just select your membership type to get started. However, if you outgrow your account, we have upgrade options available which also come with more features.
To get started do the following:
1. Log in, and from your homepage center, mouse over Profile (on the menu bar) and choose Customize
2. From here you can use the basic customization or advanced to customize your profile. If you choose advance you can use a profile layout site (PimpMyProfile.com, MyHotComments.com, www.pyzam.com etc.) and copy and paste the code in the boxes.
3. After customizing your profile, click preview before saving changes to see what it looks like.
To upload a photo, log in to your MemphisRap.com account and from your homepage center choose the "Photos: Edit or Upload" link in the left menu or from the top menu bar scroll to "Profile" and then click "Control Panel". Click the "Photos" link on the menu, then click "Add Photo" and fill in the information and click "Add Photo."
Click "Browse" to search your computer's hard drive for the image you want to upload. You may upload as many images as you like so long as they are in .GIF, or .JPG format, and comply with the policies listed in our Terms of Use agreement.
It may take a while for your photo to upload, depending upon the speed of your connection and and size of your photo.
After you have submitted your photo, you can modify your photo information, arrange photos in any order and delete photos.
To hide a photo, log in to MemphisRap.com account and on the menu bar scroll to "Profile" and then click "Control Panel". Click the "Photos" link on the menu, then click "Browse Photos." Select the photo you would like to modify from the list by clicking "Modify Photo."
There are several ways to send message to another member.
1. To send a message to another member you go to their Profile page and click "Message" under their Contact box.
2. You can also send a message by going to "People" and "Browse" and searching for the member that you are looking for. Under the member name click the envelope to send a message.
3. Send message by inbox. - Go to "Mail" on the top menu and click "Compose" (you must know the username of the member you are trying to contact).
Your message will be delivered to their MemphisRap.com Message Center and/or the email address they used to register their membership.
Notice: If you receive a spam message from another user, please report it to abuse@memphisrap.com so we may take immediate action or go to that members Profile page and click "Flag" under their Contact box.
Here are the most common reasons why your profile may have been deleted:
1. the profile contained nude images
2. the profile contained racist content
3. there was gang-related or affiliated content
5. underage (under age 13)
6. profile was flagged by multiple members
7. profile violated someone else's copyright-protected content
8. profile was found to been sending out spam
To create a group you must be logged in. Once you log in scroll to "Profile" on the top menu bar and select "Control Panel." Next click "Groups" and "Create Group."
To add someone as a group moderator they must already be a member at MemphisRap.com and they must join as a member of your group. If they are already a member, just select "Edit Group Member." Look for the member that you would like to assign as a moderator and click "Modify."
Next, under moderator, select "Yes" and click "Modify Member."
In order to hide a group you must be the creator of the group. If you are the creator of the group go to "Control Panel" then "Modify Group" select the group and under Group Active select "No."
Click the group you want to check out and when you find something you like, click Join Group. When you join a group, your membership will be pending until the moderator or creator of the group approves it.

Once a member of MemphisRap.com anyone can create a Playlist. The quickest way to create a "Playlist" is by clicking "Manage Playlists" on your homepage center. The second way is to go to "Profile" on the top menu bar scroll to "Control Panel." Next click "Stations" and click "Create Station." Next select station file type and then station mode.
Once you have created your station, click "Modify Station" and select the station you wish to modify.
From this same page this is where you will also add songs to your playlist. To add songs to your "Playlist" click "Included Songs" and a window will open.
Now select the artists and/or songs that your would like included. Once finished selecting your songs click "Save and Close." Important: To save your playlist changes and songs you must click "Modify Station."
To change a Playlist order click "Manage Playlists" on the homepage center. Next click "Modify Station" and then select "Playlist Order" and a new window should open. You can then move songs up and down on to the desired position. Click "Save and Close" and on the main window be sure to click "Modify Station."
To sell merchandise go to "Store" in your Control Panel and click "Create Item". You will be given options to set the price, item number and more here.
By selling physical merchandise you will be responsible for shipping and take full responsiblity.
To sell digital items go to "Vault" in your Control Panel and click "Create Item." Here you will be given option to set the price, and item number much like the store, but the only difference is that you have the option to set a limit on how many times the item is available for download.
The difference between the Store and the Vault is that the Store allows you to sell physical items while the Vault allows you to sell digital items such as mp3 files, videos, and more.
1. To post events you must be logged in. Once logged in, on your homepage center, you can click "Manage Calendar" on the far left under your profile picture. Or you can go to "Profile" on the top menu, scroll to "Control Panel" and click "Calendar."
2. Click "Create Event" enter the title, location, date, description, and image or postcard for the event.
3. To sell and create a ticket for the event, scroll down to the Vault section. In the Vault section enter an item description, price, sales limit (number of tickets that can be sold) and the ticket limit (number of tickets that can be purchased by a single person), if available. "Check" the checkbox next to "Create As Ticket" and click the submit/create button.
4. If you do not see "Create Event" then your membership type does not allow event creation.
