DeAnna Jo Brown, 23, was raised in Memphis TN as a young child and grew up in a middle class family of five. Growing up around a very musical family, DeAnna was always focused on music and used it as an outlet to express herself. She attended theatre classes early in life and carried it with her throughout high school. After graduation from Cordova High School in 2004, she jumped right into the work force as an administrative assistant at Regional Adjustment Bureau and has been there for 5 years now.

       Through these five years DeAnna has accomplished a lot in her music career, She began in 2005 working with various hip-hop groups helping to plan shows and make press kits for promotion. She then started with Memphisrap.com in April ..06 as a representative. After seeing what DeAnna was capable of, she quickly began to move up into advertising sales and event planning.

        In the beginning of ..07 she helped accept the award for "Website of the Year" from The Southern Entertainment Awards and also did over 50 video recorded interviews with various artists that weekend for the SEA conferences. After that she began to move forward with conducting interviews by hosting and interviewing Playa Fly for his first exclusive interview at Ardent Studios. DeAnna then began writing a monthly article for Ozone Magazine about the Memphis music scene and is still currently submitting articles.

        In January of ..08 DeAnna helped gather sponsors and plan the Memphisrap.com Showcase and Networking Event at the New Daisy Theatre. She then helped accept two nominations for "Website of the Year" and "Website Magazine of the Year" from The Southern Entertainment Awards. She also conducted interviews, took pictures, and covered the entire weekend event. She is currently awaiting response to be appointed a member of the Memphis Music Commission Board, from which she was nominated by producer Kurt "KC'Clayton. She has also been nominated for 2009 and 2010 female "Industry Power Player" of the year. She is still awaiting news for her second 2010 nomination.

        Aside from doing all of these things, DeAnna still hopes to accomplish more in the future and work hard towards her goals in the music industry.
