Thu, Nov 1st - 3:51AM Kelis Dropped By Jive Records According to recent reports R&B singer Kelis was dropped from her label Jive, reportedly due to low sales from her 2006 album "Kelis Was Here". The album sold around 150,000 copies in the US making it her least successful album to date.
According to her manager it was because the label didn't get her kind of music and failed to support the singer.
In other news, the singer is the spokemodel for Ford Motors and can be seen in a number of TV commercials and print ads. Kelis is stated to be working on a few films and other projects.

Her line of Humps will be launching sometime in 2008 and hitting a number of stores across the U.S.
Reportedly, Macy Gray, 39, came up with the idea after growing tired of fashion designed for skinny women. We all know she always talking about skinny women. :)
She says, "It's actually for voluptuous, curvaceous girls, girls with thighs and hips."
