Level II Nightclub in East Memphis Responds To 6 Gunshot Victims Incident

In the wee hours of the morning after the event called ‘Swagged Out Sundays’ at Level II Nightclub located at 5020 American Way in East Memphis, TN, six men are stated to have suffered from gunshot wounds, following an alleged fight outside the popular Memphis night club.

According to a statement released by reps at Level II Nightclub, the incident happened after the parking lot had been cleared at around 3:10 AM.

Officers who were on duty at that time stated to have seen only four cars after that time which included 3 employees and a person who had a flat tire waiting for assistance.

According to the Commercial Appeal, two of the victims were brought to the East Memphis Police Station on Mt Moriah and one of the victims stated that they tried to run when they heard gunshots, but was shot in the buttocks during his efforts.

The second victim claimed that they were talking to a friend and took a shot in the wrist. Without knowledge, it was later revealed that the victim had also been shot in their upper body.

Out of the other four victims, a 24 year-old man is stated to have been shot several times and was in critical condition, while the others suffered minor wounds.

Currently police have no information on the shooter and is currently investigating the incident.
