No matter what genre of music gets you going, chances are there’s a music festival over in Europe that’s built around showcasing it. Many wouldn’t suspect it, but there are tons of rhythm and blues, urban, and hip hop music events in Europe each year. Much like the video slot music and the effect it has on us, the RnB and hip hop genres have become favorites of people around the world over the last decade. Here are five of the top hip hop and RnB festivals in Europe.

1. Parklife

There’s so much to do at the U.K’s Parklife festival that it’s incredible the organizers manage to fit in so many attractions and events into two days. Not only do some of the biggest names in the music industry headline, such as Ice Cube and Wu-Tang Clan, but those who attend also get to enjoy cabaret, spoken word and comedy performances, art displays, themed zones, and a big funfair.

2. Lovebox

London’s Lovebox festival is hugely popular and it’s one big party that celebrates urban, electronic, hip hop, and rhythm and blues music. The two day summer event takes place in Victoria Park and has been going strong since it first launched in 2002. So well organized is the Lovebox Festival that it’s won awards for having an excellent lineup and for being one of the top medium sized festivals in the world. 3. Paris Hip Hop Festival

What could be better than watching incredible exhibitions and hip hop music performances with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop? That’s exactly what goes down at the Paris Hip Hop Festival, an event that typically hosts nearly 400 artists from around the world as well as film screenings, great parties, and workshops. It takes place over a span of 15 days, which is a good thing since so many people flock to it each year come late spring.

4. Outlook Festival

This event takes place in the fall in the Croatian city of Pula. Not only are well known and up and coming acts featured, but the Outlook Festival takes place in a number of venues throughout the city. In 2016, artists performed in the ruins of a fort as well as an ancient amphitheater. Damian Marley was one of the headliners in 2016, and 2017 will no doubt be just as exciting. While you wait for the Outlook Festival to swing around again, get your thrills playing games on Vegas Palms Casino.

5. Fresh Island

This is another urban festival that takes place in Croatia, but Fresh Island happens on Pag Island. During the summer, music goers head to the gorgeous isle’s dramatic coastline to see performances from the world’s top RnB and hip hop music stars. Past performers have included Rick Ross and Nas and, in 2016, Wiz Khalifa and Chris Brown headlined the event. Not only is Fresh Island a prime opportunity to see a great show, the beautiful island itself is well worth a visit.
