Video of Police In East Memphis Arresting Man, Pointing Gun at Pregnant Fiancée, Others Goes Viral
A video said to be of police arresting a man in East Memphis, TN while a police officer points his gun at his pregnant fiancée and Uncle filming the arrest from the porch has stirred up quite the controversy over Facebook.
The video, which was shared on September 29th, has since gone viral and has over 100,000 shares and has been viewed over 3 million times so far.
In the video, the man who is being arrested is seen being handcuffed as a man claiming to be his Uncle speaks behind the camera and describes the incident.
Behind the camera, he can heard beginning to question why the officer is pointing a gun at him and his nephew's pregnant fiancée who he claims pose no threat to the officers.
Many in the comments are questioning whether the officer was simply 'doing his job' or whether he was 'unprofessionally' abusing his authority by continually aiming his weapon at them. At some point the officer even aims the gun with a streamlight glaring at them.
This happened today in East Memphis Tn, they just took this post off Facebook so nobody could see it but ima keep posting it and y'all keep sharing it they locked my nephew up and was pointing the gun at me and his pregnant baby mother
