13 Yr Old Anthony Diaz Shot & Killed While Filming Sisters’ Fight over Facebook Posts

A 13 year-old boy was shot and killed allegedly while recording a fight on his cellphone involving his sisters who were in an alleged feud over Facebook posts in the northwest Chicago neighborhood of Belmont Central.

According to the police and Diaz’ step-father, Ralph Otero, Anthony accompanied his two older sisters to a fight which was set off by a feud that started on the social media site and ended violently with the death of Diaz which was witnessed by the sisters.

Police say the teen boy was shot by the gunman, who was standing over the dying teen shooting him several times at close range.

Reportedly, the sisters, who are 16 and 17 years-old, were told by their mother to leave Anthony out of their feuds because he wasn’t ‘street savvy’ but the boy ran after his older sisters and unfortunately it ended tragically.

Although Anthony was reportedly recording, police state they were unable to retrieve video from his phone.

Anthony Diaz, who was shot at least four times, was rushed to Mount Sinai after the sisters called their mother screaming ‘they shot Anthony,’ but was pronounced dead around 11:30PM that night (Sunday).
