Rap mogul Marion 'Suge' Knight, co-founder of the infamous hip hop record label Death Row Records, responsible for the success of artists like 2Pac, Dre Dre, Snoop Dogg and others, was arrested on charges of murder following a hit and run which ended up killing a man after an alleged altercation with someone whom he was allegedly fighting.
Apparently Suge Knight showed up unannounced at a film set in Compton where a commercial shoot was going on for a movie involving Dr Dre and Ice Cube.
Upon 'popping up' on the set of the film project, Suge Knight was allegedly asked to leave by security.
That's apparently when a fight broke out between Suge Knight and two other men.
At some point, Suge Knight jumped in his car to leave and upon, putting his car in reverse, he allegedly struck at least three men with his vehicle which left two injured and one man dead.
The man killed by Suge Knight's vehicle was actually a passenger and friend, Terry Carter, that rode along to the movie set with him.
Among one of the men injured was Cle "Bone" Sloan from them movie Training Day.
Some have speculated that the victim that was struck and killed by Suge's vehicle may have been having a conversation with Bone behind Suge's vehicle.
Sources say, Suge may have been targeting Bone or someone else when he 'floored' his vehicle that hit the men and unfortunately killed Carter.
Suge Knight turned himself in after being sought by police following the incident and was charged with murder because he allegedly put his car in reverse more than once leading police to believe he intended to hit at least one of the people whom he may have had a fight with - which was motive enough for arrest.
In California and other states, if someone accidentally kills another person while in the act of committing a felony they could be charged with murder.
