Memphis Man Dead After Crashing Into Jack Pirtle’s Chicken Restaurant

A man is dead after crashing his truck into a Jack Pirtle’s Fried Chicken Restaurant on Elvis Presley Blvd in the Whitehaven area of South Memphis.

It was Monday morning around 8AM when a truck crashed into Jack Pirtle’s Chicken leaving a huge hole in the establishment.

The driver of the vehicle is believed to have had a heart attack which caused him to lose control crashing into the Jack Pirtle’s Chicken.

Fortunately, none of the employees working in Jack Pirtle’s at the time, were injured during the sudden crash, however, unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Construction crews are already working on the restaurant to repair the damage to the business while it is expected to be closed for the next few days before it will be ready to re-open for business.
