Missing baby Aniston Walker, who went missing on January 9, has been confirmed as the baby found dead in a Millington ditch in the Memphis metro area on yesterday, Sunday (Feb. 16).
Following the initial news reports of a baby being found dead in a ditch in Millington, Aniston Walker's mother Andrea Walker, 33, surrendered herself to authorities on the morning after, Monday (Feb. 17), according to her defense attorney, Leslie Ballin.
Speculation and anxiety built more and more as police would not comment on if the baby found dead in a ditch by a motorcyclist on Singleton Parkway was indeed Aniston Walker, who was just 7 weeks old when she went missing.
Now, the baby initially described only as "less than a year old, wearing a onsie" has been confirmed as that of Aniston Walker and her mom Andrea Walker has been charged with first degree murder.
When Aniston Walker was first reported as missing by Aniston's father, it was Andrea who told police she had left the 7 week old Aniston with her 3-year-old after leaving to drop off her 5-year-old son at school - so the search began for missing baby Aniston Walker on January 9.
Soon after, Andrea was first arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse and child neglect.
Released on bond on February 5, Andrea Walker is now back in jail on charges of first degree murder and the discovery of Aniston's body now ends the over a month search for the missing baby.
