Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy, real name Jay Wayne Jenkins, 36, has been arrested and accused of imprisoning, making terroristic threats and assaulting his son.
TMZ reports that Jeezy allegedly got into a fight with his son in a bathroom which led to Jeezy throwing his son through the glass shower door leaving his son with an injury to his head.
Continuing the alleged assault, Jeezy is accused of punching his son, dragging him to the bedroom and attacking him more.
Jeezy is charged with false imprisonment for allegedly barricading his son in and allegedly preventing him from escaping due to the rapper’s bodyguard blocking the stairwell.
The terroristic threats charge derives from Jeezy allegedly choking his son saying that he would kill him.
Jeezy’s teenage son claims that his father threatened to put a bullet in his head and, if he could get away with it, then he would.
Jeezy reportedly turned himself into authorities Friday after a warrant was issued for charges of battery, false imprisonment and making terroristic threats for the incident that allegedly occurred September 2012, according to TMZ.
Jeezy was soon bonded out on a $45,000 bail and his attorney is optimistic that the matter will resolve itself and says Jeezy is thankful of the support of fans and hope that they will respect the family’s privacy.
