George Zimmerman, who was acquitted in July in the shooting case of Trayvon Martin, was arrested on yesterday (November 18), on domestic violence charges against his girlfriend.
According to Florida police, a 911 call was made by Zimmerman's girlfriend Samantha Scheibe claiming that Zimmerman had smashed up furniture, pointed a shotgun at her and broken her sunglasses.
In the call, that was later released, Samantha Scheibe, 27, can be heard telling Zimmerman, "You put in a gun in my freakin face, get out of my house."
Later, Scheibe can be heard crying for Zimmerman not to put her out of her own house, which according to police, when they arrived, Zimmerman had allegedly locked his girlfriend out and blocked the door with some type of furniture possibly.
Apparently, when police arrived, Zimmerman had placed his own 911 call claiming in his own words his girlfriend had "gone crazy" on him.
Zimmerman alleges his girlfriend is lying about him pulling a gun on her, is pregnant with their child and was angry at him because he wanted to leave after learning that she wanted to raise the child on her own.
George Zimmerman, 30, who has court today is being charged with aggravated assault, domestic violence and criminal mischief.
