Rick Ross Not Worried About Death Threats; Talks ‘Choking’ Rapper Young Jeezy

Chicago police are taking threats by the gang GD against rapper Rick Ross serious, but the rapper himself says he’s not scared by the threats when he spoke with 99 Jamz in Miami on Monday.

Rick Ross, who had concert tour dates cancelled, stated that it was not due to the Gangster Disciples. According to Rick Ross, the blame is being put on the promoter whom he claims wasn’t taking care of business. Rick Ross stated that the concert promoter Shawn Gee failed to notify him that he had cancelled three shows.

Could it be that Gee cancelled the concerts due to the Gangster Disciples’ recent release of a video on last week demanding that Rick Ross pay the incarcerated founder of the Gangster Disciples Larry Hoover by cutting a check for using his name. Adding more to this, Rick Ross is also accused of using GD’s Star of David logo on his mixtape “The Black Bar Mitzvah.”

According to Rick Ross, who considers what GD is doing as extortion, “ain’t no checks gettin cut.”

Meanwhile, GD is telling everyone in Maybach to be watching including including the likes of Wale ad others.

While during his on-air interview, the Maybach Music Group label owner didn’t forget to mention his brawl with rapper Young Jeezy during the BET Hip-Hop Awards this year. Rick Ross said the two crossed each other’s paths and he said ‘what’s up’ to Young Jezzy and Young Jeezy said ‘what’s up’ back. Rick Ross explains that although Young Jeezy had five security guards and five police officers with him, he tried to choke him.

“His security guards hemmed me up. Whoever the big black dude with the bumps on his face, he should give that dude something special for Christmas,” stated Rick Ross.

This is not the first time Rick Ross, born William Roberts, has been accused of name usage and name-dropping to promote himself. Others include former drug kingpin “Freeway” Ricky Ross and rapper Teflon Don, as reported on MemphisRap.com, who both had separate lawsuits against Rick Ross.
