Drumma Boy Goes Behind The Beats With MTV About New Mixtape Welcome To My City 2

Memphis multi-platinum award winning producer Drumma Boy, who has produced songs for the likes of T.I., Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, amongst others, spoke with MTV’s Mixtape Daily about the second installment of his independent project, Welcome II My City 2 mixtape.

According to Drumma Boy, Welcome to My City 2 (WTMC2) is a unification process of Memphis and it’s like bringing the city together.

The music producer and rapper stated he brought on reggae and dancehall star Junior Reid of Kingston, Jamaica and Memphis’ own Playa Fly whom he felt like could help him speak his message a little bit better.

… a lot of the opportunities we’ve had, we have been overlooked or been the underdogs and really haven’t gotten that jus’ due.
