Memphis Rapper Dead, Murdered In ‘Senseless’ Killing?!

The hip hop community in Memphis, TN is mourning the loss of 25 year-old Samuel Wilkes, also known as Memphis rapper Sam Bo, who died over the weekend.

Details about rapper Sambo’s death are sketchy, but it is believed that the rapper may have been victim to a senseless killing.

The rapper, who recently hooked up with local producer and artist K-Le DaVincci, of the Wav Squad, debuted a music video in February for his new single entitled “Me.”

K-Le DaVincci and associates of Wav Squad were unavailable for comment, however, released the following statement:

“It was just last week he (Sam Bo) finally agreed to sign with “Wav Squad”
I finally announced it last night… Deon (K-Le’s manager) started setting shows up for him in Arkansas, just to turn around the next day and get a call saying he’s gone.

I will not cry about the death or even SENSELESS MURDER of my friend….
I will much rather celebrate HIS life and HIS memory as we continue on.”
