The SXSW 2012 went down a couple weeks ago and Memphis rappers Yo Gotti, Zed Zilla and Don Trip invaded the SXSW 2012 event and shows which was held in Austin, Texas.

Yo Gotti and Zed Zilla hit the town with the whole CMG crew, and as mentioned on the CMG official site, the rappers ran into Nipsey Hussle, 40 Glocc, Trae Tha Truth and performed some live shows with the likes of ‘Wild Boy’ Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) and Meek Mill.

As stated, Gotti also hooked up with fellow Memphis rapper Don Trip.

“The increasingly vibrant and diverse Memphis rap and hip-hop scene was a significant player at SXSW this year,” says Chris Herrington at Memphis Flyer, who recently reported on the rapper’s debut at SXSW, while pointing out some highlights of Memphis rap at the SXSW 2012 in Austin last week.

Trip and Gotti performed Trip’s single “The Life.”

Other Memphis rappers performing the nights of SXSW were Skewby, Juicy J, and another SXSW debut by upcomer Cities Aviv.
