Cherese aka MZ901, Slept on Model of the Year – 2009 Southern Entertainment Awards

She’s hot, she’s sexy, she’s the 2009 Southern Entertainment Awards winner of the Slept on Model of Year Award, she’s Memphis model Cherese Pointer aka MZ901. In an interview with MemphisRap.com, Cherese talks about what it was like taking home her award, what’s sexy and not sexy to her, and what’s her future plans. MemphisRap.com: Tell everyone your name and where you’re from.

MZ901: My name is Cherese and my alias name is MZ901. I’m originally from Memphis but left at the age of 8 and moved to Mississippi. I returned home to Memphis at the age of 18 and have been here since then.

MemphisRap.com: What got you into modeling and how long have been doing it?

MZ901: I got into modeling off of MySpace. A modeling group wanted me to join them and I did. I left the group because I was doing my own networking and was accomplishing a lot of things on my own. That was the best decision EVER!!!!!!!!!

MemphisRap.com: What all types of modeling have you done?

MZ901: I only have done print and promotional type of work but I’m working towards on expanding my work.

MemphisRap.com: What are your measurements?

MZ901: 34-27-38

MemphisRap.com: What part of your body would you say is the sexiest to you?

MZ901: I would have to say my eyes.

MemphisRap.com: What part of your body gets the most attention from others?

MZ901: My butt of course. LoL!!!!!!  I can’t leave my face out.

MemphisRap.com: Got a favorite Memphis rap artist or group?

MZ901: No. I support them all and everybody else should as well. STOP HATIN ON EACH OTHER AND LET’S WORK TOGETHER.

MemphisRap.com: How about a favorite hip hop artist or group?

MZ901: That would be T.I, Ludacris, Beyonce, Bun B, and Keri Hilson.

MemphisRap.com: You recently won Slept on Model of the Year award at the 2009 Southern Entertainment Awards, how did that feel?

MZ901: It felt good. It took a minute for it to all sink in because somebody finally seen my hard work and my determination.

MemphisRap.com: On a scale of 1 to 10, how high were your expectations? 10 being the highest, 1 being the lowest?

MZ901: I would have to say a 7 for that category.

MemphisRap.com: What made you feel that way? Did you have a lot of supporters?

MZ901: I was also nominated for Internet Hustler of the Year and anybody that knows me, I’m always on the internet hustling. I thought I had a better chance in that category. I was going up against a lot of beautiful models all over the south for “Slept on Model OTY. Apparently I do……I won!!!!!!!!! Thank you all that voted for me.

MemphisRap.com: Do you seem to have more people hating or congratulating you after your win?

MZ901: Um. I’ve been getting more congratulating than hating I think. At the end of the day, I’m going to do me REGARDLESS, hating or not. “One monkey don’t stop no show”. I always keep God first.

MemphisRap.com: So when you’re not modeling what are you doing?

MZ901: Spending time with family and friends, church, shopping, movies, clubbing, and etc. Anything that’s fun because I hate being bored.

MemphisRap.com: If you weren’t a model, what would you be?

MZ901: I would be a Cosmetologist and I’m still wearing that title now.

MemphisRap.com: Being a model, do you always try to be fashionable in public?

MZ901: Yes. You never know who you might run into.

MemphisRap.com: How about at home?

MZ901: I’m more of a laid back type of person. I dress very comfortable and that consists of tanktops, short shorts, t-shirts, jogging pants and lingerie. I still be on point with it though. LoL!!!!!!!!!

MemphisRap.com: What’s the sexiest outfit you own?

MZ901: I do eyecandy type of modeling so I have a lot of sexy outfits. My favorite is “Mz901 Don’t Tell Nobody”.

MemphisRap.com: What are your turn ons?

MZ901: God, positive people, and a true gentleman

MemphisRap.com: What are your turn offs?

MZ901: Fakes, Liars, Two-Faced people, Backstabbers, Negativity, and the list goes on……

MemphisRap.com: Do you prefer boxers or briefs on a man?

MZ901: Boxers but nothing is fine with me.

MemphisRap.com: What’s the best and worst pick-up line you’ve ever heard?

MZ901: The best pick up line I’ve heard was “Excuse me, I don’t mean to bother you but are you single? If so, can I call you sometimes”. It may sound lame to some of you but it’s all about how you approach women. Be respectful guys!!!!!!!!!  The worst I’ve heard is” Shawty you thick as hell, can I get your number”. My response to that is “Hell no”…….

MemphisRap.com: Did anyone try to pick up on you at the 2009 SEA’s?

MZ901: Yes and things are in the making so my fingers are crossed. I’m still networking and grinding until something falls through.

MemphisRap.com: What’s next for SEA’s 2009 Slept On Model of the year?

MZ901: I have a website that’s in the making and upcoming calendars. I’m trying to work in many different markets and branching out on expanding my portfolio. I’m also trying to keep myself busy and motivated.
