Rihanna Releases New Single, New Album To Follow

Barbados R&B/Pop singer Rihanna “Robyn Rihanna Fenty” commonly misspelled Rhianna, 19, is currently working on her third album “Good Girl Gone Bad” under label Def Jam which is set to release June 5, 2007.

Barbados R&B/Pop singer Rihanna “Robyn Rihanna Fenty” commonly misspelled Rhianna, 19, is currently working on her third album “Good Girl Gone Bad” under label Def Jam which is set to release June 5, 2007. Rihanna is most known for the hit songs “Pon De Replay,” “S.O.S.,” “Unfaithful” and “Break It Off.”

The first single from the album “Umbrella” hit airwaves March 29, 2007 which features Jay-Z and was produced by Christopher “Tricky” Stewart. The song starts off with Jay-Z giving his dose of lines and leads on to Rihanna.

Rihanna states that her sound has changed somewhat with an edge, which you’ll get a glimpse of on her new track “Umbrella” which she gets a little more sassy .

Partial lyrics …. “Now that It’s raining more than ever, know that we’ll have each other more than ever. You can stand under my umbrella. You can stand under my umbrella.”

Rihanna says the album will be more adult this time around which will display that she done a little growing up since the short stint of time she’s had in the business.
