T.I. set to release new album, T.I. vs T.I.P., with a split-personality


Clifford Harris “T.I” will be releasing his 5th Southern rap album July 3, 2007 “T.I. vs T.I.P.” which will be T.I. competing with his alter-ego split personality T.I.P.

The Altanta rapper is stated to have already put together some 60 tracks for this project which will possibly feature artists such as Justin Timberlake, Emimem, 50 Cent, Nelly, R. Kelly, Lil Wayne, Ciara, and Akon. Producers Scott Storch, Timbaland, Mannie Fresh, Black Mob, Just Blaze and Wyclef Jean has already jumped aboard for the project.

Inconjuction with the album, T.I. also plans to release a DVD alongside his “T.I. vs T.I.P” project retaining the same title.

“It’s basically a battle within myself. There’s not nobody out there doing what I do as well as I do it, so I see myself as worthy competition for myself,” stated T.I. about the project.

The album title “T.I. vs. T.I.P.” came from the name of one of his songs from his sophomore album, Trap Muzik.

The first single for “T.I. vs T.I.P.” will be released this early April.
