Koopsta Knicca, ”Fresh out of Jail” and back with the New Prophet Camp

“Fresh out of Jail,” says the Memphis rapper and former Hypnotized Camp Posse’s Three 6 Mafia.member, Koopsta Knicca, to Deanna Brown of MemphisRap.com as the camera snaps a shot of them at the autograph signing of the newly regrouped Prophet Posse Camp at Spin Street Music in Memphis, TN for the release of their new CD album The Return: Prophet Posse, Part 1 on Tuesday, March 20. The group is back and back strong, though not confirmed yet, it is possible the group may have broken a record at Spin Street Music for the most CD’s sold on a Tuesday release.

So if you’ve been waiting to know what’s been up with the rapper Koopsta Knicca, then the wait is over. You can find the rapper now apart of the New Prophet Camp and expect the ‘Koop’ to begin working on recording something new soon.

The former Hypnotize Minds member left the group, Three 6 Mafia, back around in 2000 due to a monetary dispute and was not long followed by ex-member La Chat (2001, then again in 2003) – left due to money issues, as well as, Gangsta Boo followed by the last member to leave the group, Crunchy Black (2006).

Three Six now consists of founders DJ Paul and Juicy J, brother to still HCP member Project Pat.

The album, Prophet Posse The Return: Part 1, which features Koopsta Knicca also features Playa Fly, Pastor Troy, Lil’ Flip, Yo Gotti, Gangsta Boo, Gangsta Blac, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Blackout, Nick Scarfo, Kelo, Indo-G, K-Rock, T-Rock, Hottsauce, Raw Dawg, and 7:30 and hit stores everywhere Tuesday, March 20th, 2007.
