Rapper E-40’s Death Rumors False

Not sure how rumors that the Bay-area rapper E-40 was dead got started but it seems that doesn’t matter as the rumors have been put to sleep according to a statement issued over the internet by the rapper’s label that E-40’s death was false.

Rumors supposedly that the rapper had been involved in a “ghostriding” car accident and/or drive-by shooting began last weekend. Later a statement was released to E-40’s Myspace page.

“I am writing to dispel any and all of the rumors currently circulating concerning the health and safety of Earl Stevens p/k/a E-40. Mr. Stevens is alive and well in Las Vegas enjoying all-star weekend and has not been the victim of any shooting or accident,” the statement says on E-40’s Myspace page.

The statement goes on to say that the rumors were outrageous and should stop immediately.
